A Valedictorian from the Ivy League University of the Sorbonne in Paris, Genvièv is an Emergency Medicine First Responder with the Wilderness Medicine Institute and the Emergency First Response Corporation.
In the field, it means handling critical medical and emergency situations under extreme pressure and in the most remote locations. In the office, it means collaborating with physicians, health care providers and medical practitioners to best address, improve and support the conditions of their patients.
In matters of Forensic Discovery, Genvièv was professionally trained by a retired Police Officer and former Marine with a lifelong experience assisting Police Departments in retrieving the most information possible. She brought her expertise to high-profile assassinations, multi-jurisdictional murder investigations, and handled multilingual cases for the Department of Homeland Security. As consulting hypnosis practitioners, we do not independently work with medical conditions, diagnose, treat or prescribe. We do not practice psychotherapy, we teach and train our clients to shift limiting beliefs, reach their goals and enhance their wellness using hypnotic techniques.
We only faciliate, enhance and support wellness around diagnosed physical, mental and emotional symptoms with the authorization and under the supervision of medical doctors, physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners. Please note we do require a physician’s authorization before scheduling sessions and work only under your physician’s guidance. Working in close cooperation with your medical team enables us to ensure your progress in an optimal manner.

After serving as President, Genvièv was nominated Fellow of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association. She is Board Certified and a Certified Instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists. A Forensic and Clinical Hypnosis practitioner based in Portland, Oregon, she holds national qualifications as a Master Hypnotist and Instructor in Emergency and Pain Control Hypnosis.
Genvièv is an Emergency Medicine First Responder with the Wilderness Medicine Institute and the Emergency First Response Corporation. She is a Deep Sea Rescue Diver and served on board the Professional Ski Patrol of Mount Hood. A graduate from the professional hypnosis programs of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Mottin & Johnson Institute of Hypnosis, she graduated top of her class from the Department of Doctorates of the Sorbonne University of Paris with a Master’s Degree and a DESS, and from the Silva Institute of Psychorientology, which she attended both in Paris and Los Angeles.
As part of her lifelong research on the functioning of the human mind and its resulting effects on the body, Genvièv studied Chinese Medicine approaches to Functional Pathology, practiced Shamanic healing with Lakota Indians, QiGong healing with Eastern Masters and various forms of energy healing with European Masters. She extensively studied the teachings of Zen and their applications in modern Western lifestyles.

An internationally published author and speaker, Genvièv writes and lectures extensively on the science of harnessing the power of our subconscious mind. In 2003, she teamed up with the best-selling book series Chicken Soup for the Soul to release a new title dedicated to inspiring readers to overcome obstacles and reach for a better life. Genvièv has over 20 years of experience researching, practicing and teaching the concepts and applications of hypnotherapy and personal development in the US and overseas. Throughout her career with leading international corporations, universities and schools, she taught CEOs, corporate executives, athletes, students and private clients to use the power of their minds to transform their existences.
Genvièv’s lifelong athletic training shaped her path and serves as the backbone of her teachings. A swimmer, downhill skier, equestrian and gymnast through her childhood, she was an aerobic fitness instructor at the University of Nice and within leading fitness centers in Paris. In the US, she became a member of the International Hapkido Federation’s Black Belt Program, acting as an assistant instructor. She trained one-on-one with a Lieutenant in the Foreign Legion Anti-Terrorist Unit, learning hand-to-hand combat, self-defense, ground fighting, knife combat and weapon skills.
