This month, Genvièv was nominated President of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association by her colleagues and fellow Officers of the Board of Directors. It is deeply honored and touched by their trust that she accepted the nomination.
Founded in 1995, the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving professionalism, ethics and excellence in the field of hypnotherapy. Serving the Pacific Northwest, the organization provides continuing education, hosts regular conferences and offers an open forum for the exchange of ideas, methodologies and occupational matters. OHA Northwest, the Official Publication of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association, is published regularly through the year.
Genvièv has been serving on the Board of Directors of the association since 2011. In 2013, she was nominated Vice President. Supported by the association’s Officers and Directors, she will continue ensuring the organization’s mission to promote education, support ethics and professionalism, and encourage collaboration and exchanges within the profession.
Genvièv stated: “The OHA has been a family to me since I arrived to the Pacific Northwest, standing by me through thick and thin. It has been an amazing journey and I look forward to continuing to serve our profession with this incredible team.”
This month also marked Genvièv’s 20-Year Anniversary as a Professional Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. Officially founded in 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts, the NGH is a not-for-profit educational corporation committed to advancing the field of hypnosis.
